Job Fit Scoring V2 — Know Where You Stand Before You Apply
Our new evidence-aware job fit engine doesn't just match keywords. It scores your real, confirmed career evidence against job requirements — so you know exactly where you stand before hitting apply.
Most job-matching tools work like a keyword game. They compare the words on your resume against the words in a job description and give you a percentage. It's fast, it's simple, and it misses the point entirely.
Today we're launching Job Fit Scoring V2 — an evidence-aware matching engine that scores your actual career record against what a role requires.
What's different about V2
Instead of scanning resume text, Job Fit V2 evaluates the depth of your confirmed evidence. It looks at three dimensions:
Skill coverage.Which required skills do you have confirmed artifacts for? Not just the keyword "Python" on your resume, but notes documenting actual Python work with extracted outcomes.
Evidence depth. There's a difference between mentioning a skill once and having 12 confirmed entries spanning two years. V2 rewards depth — it knows the difference between a passing mention and a core competency.
Gap identification.Instead of a vague "68% match," you see exactly which requirements you match, which ones you partially cover, and which are genuine gaps. This turns job searching from guesswork into strategy.
How it works in practice
Save any job posting to your Memoa board. Within seconds, you'll see a High / Medium / Low fit badge, a breakdown of matched vs. missing skills, and eligibility flags for key requirements. If you're a partial match, the tool shows you exactly what additional evidence would strengthen your candidacy.
Built on real evidence, not keyword tricks
The scoring engine doesn't read your resume — it reads your career record. That means every score is grounded in confirmed, timestamped evidence you've reviewed and approved. No inflation. No hallucination. Just an honest read on where you stand.
Job Fit V2 is available now on the Get Hired and Maximize tiers.
